The Scoresby Polar Bear Room

This strange and sad tale serves as the subject matter for the Scoresby room. Could the sight of a full grown polar bear swimming in the estuary really be true and how did such a creature arrive on Whitby shores? The ancient mariner, William Scoresby, is the start of this salty yarn.

This is a fun room that uses the polar bear theme to full effect (more is more on this occasion)! With a king-size bed, ensuite shower room and a big, beautiful bay window seat, it’s the perfect spot to spy any local wildlife. Located on the first floor, it’s not a polar expedition to get to.
